Since the appearance of the first personal computers that curious and creative users try to use it as a tool to produce art. Some achieve to substitute the brushes for the mouse and start to create an infinite number and accurately equal, without distinction between copy and original.
The quality of available tools to produce art in the computer is enormous. There are softwares for all tastes and purposes and, so far, who took more advantage of this had been the advertising agencies and its designers, that through the images produce something that the French researcher Jean Baudrillard called hiper-real, or either, a reality that to the eyes of the consumers becomes better than the true reality: a plate of food at an outbus, for example, seems perfect. But the hand of the designer, through mouse, intervened there, in the texture, the brightness and the more alive colors than in true reality.
But it was exactly from the advertising that had come good part of the mouse artists. One of these talents is named Almir Lira. Graduated in the Social Communication Course of the Ufal, Almir have self-taught formation in advertising and currently is working as art director in Recife.
"I draw since I was a child and always studied art. My experience comes of day-by-day in the creative departments of the advertising agencies that I worked in these 10 years. My artistic knowledge and the set of information that I like to keep, things that I collect form the set of references for my work. Pop art is my line of work, but the post-modern process makes us to drink of all the fountains in the diverse schools and periods of art in history ", said Almir Lira.
Almir already had published his works for customers as MTV, Sadia, Credicard, MSN/Microsoft and currently is developing an illustration line for the Nike.
Almir says: "they will not achieve to separate the things, the art is communication and is good for being able to use the mass midias and the advertising to take my work to the masses and to cross frontiers".

SCENES - On the other side of the city, the journalist Bezerra Neto, who already had experiences as photographer, decided to try the CorelDRAW to produce some works. Result: He liked so much that he is already preparing his first exhibition.
The inspiration of Bezerra Neto comes from photography. It is from the images that portray picturesque scenes of the simple people of the region that he starts to make detailed screens created by computer. Bezerra uses and abuses of the filters and textures, modifying them until obtaining the effect that he desires. He takes about two weeks to finish a screen, all made by hand using the mouse. For this, he uses a modest configuration. His computer is a Duron with 950Mhz of ram memory an 29 Gb HD.
From 2000 up to now, when for the first time he used a computer to create the layer of one of his books, Bezerra Neto already produced about 70 screens. "I do not work upon the images and is not necessary to know to draw, but only to have notions of art. The fact of being photographer helped me much ", affirm. Among the preferred subjects there is cangaço, the folklore, churches and the cities of Delmiro Gouveia and Piranhas. Bezerra Neto believes that the mouse is going to substitute the brushes, as well as happened with the typewriters, "I think that the plastic artists must adhere to the innovation of the technology to compose their new screens, because this has a thousand possibilities to expand the techniques and creativity".
